Have we really reached a point where just knowing a kid or two will be underground at some point is enough of a sell for any children's fantasy film? Bill Murray is in this! You'd think they'd at least sell that up a little bit. "Co-starring your favorite sarcastic feline, Garfield, here playing a man," or something.

It's also reminiscent of the bridge at the east entrance of Khazad-dum. Lame.

they could have done a more artsy poster for that
they also could have taken the pretty neat idea and made it a REALLY awsome movie
but they didn't do that either

well since Goonies was good, then everything with kids in caves will be good...right?

Should it be 3D'-ian or 3D'-ish. I'm leaning towards ish.

I remember the book being incredible.
I have...low expectations for this movie.

i think I'll still manage to be disappointed.

the most dissappointing thing about this movie is that in all the previews/trailers/posters, it gives away the very thing that makes the book so damn cool -- you don't know they live underground and neither do they until the very end! Giving it away like this makes it completely worthless.

So the whole point is to take the thunder out of the Bioshock movie, right? Because that's a stretch, but I seriously can't see any other possible reason for making this film.
