Aug 18 2008Simon Pegg 'Bastard' No Longer

On his official MySpace page, Simon Pegg has announced he'll no longer be appearing in Inglorious Bastards, instead choosing to work on Paul with Superbad director Greg Mottola:

Much to our mutual disappointment, I won't be appearing in QT's forthcoming Inglorious Bastards due to insurmountable scheduling difficulties. We really tried to make it work but in the end, it just was not possible without severe ramifications elsewhere.

I'm trying to remain upbeat, as Tom Selleck said "Who the hell is Indiana Jones anyway?"

As Peggylover commented, "the movie just wouldn't be Glorius without you!" So true. So true.

Well, that's disappointing. The casting situation around this movie is a giant mess.

Maybe Pegg realized that QT is a overrated douche. Also I believe he read that Mike Myers was starring in it and putting on a 'comedy' accent, you know Mike Myers is an anagram for Mysery Movie? Well it isn’t, but its close..

That sucks he was the one cast member that doesn't get on my nerves so far.

I'm so very confused witht this movie

If QT is an overrated douche wtf does that make Judd Apatow? The emporer wears no clothes ya reets.

Pegg's closing comment was great. Heheh. Just wanted to say that.

Superbad & Knocked up were a lot better than Jackie Brown and Kill Bill, at least Judd Apatow doesnt spring up in movies playing himself, QT is a self satisfied see you next tuesday.
