Aug 14 2008Here's the 'Body of Lies' Trailer, Little Buddies

First I thought Russell Crowe was the bad guy because of how he lives this decadent lifestyle of smoking cigars, eating cereal, and speaking in Skipper catchphrases, and that Leonardo DiCaprio was the good guy because he looks like a bass fisherman (our greatest heroes). But then my raging xenophobia kicked in and I remembered all of the Americans must be the good guys, and the bad guys are everyone else--including director Ridley Scott, because I'm still not sure we can trust the British after all the terror of the American Revolution.

Do you feel that numbness in your limbs? That's Oscar buzz!

Looks like shit.

Agreed....this doesnt look good at all. The trailer is very disappointing and doesnt do much. WTF is Ridley Scott up to these days...has he just lost his mojo? I mean...he's got some incredable films under his belt...Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, etc. But his last few have fallen VERY VERY short of my expectations from him.

Looks good.

I'll see it.

Looks good enough to me!

I couldn't tell what the movie was about from the first trailer and I still can't with this one.

From imdb
"A former journalist injured in the Iraq war is hired by the CIA to track down an Al Qaeda leader in Jordan. Based on the novel "Body of Lies" by David Ignatius"

How am I suppose to get that from this trailer? Like the first two people said the trailer is horrible and the movie looks like garbage.

On a completly unrelated subject I can't wait for the live action Akira that dicaprio is apparently doing.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1134795/

It's one of the few animes I wouldn't mind being made live action. It will probably look amazing with all the effect they can do nowadays....also Joseph Gorden Levitt will be perfect for the lead role.

The movie might be good if all of that "enemy of the state"/"swordfish" crap was purely for the trailer.

That trailer is worse then my spellinh.
