Aug 27 2008Christopher Nolan Might Not Have Actually Thought Much About Third Batman Yet
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, The Dark Knight producer Chuck Roven has implied that, despite the inevitability of Cher's casting as Catwoman, director Christopher Nolan may not actually be signed on for a third Batman:
Warners and Legendary are both interested in doing a third in the series, but all involved say it will be up to Nolan to come to them with a story and a plan."There are a lot of us who emotionally would love to do it," Roven says. "But it's really Chris' call. Chris is the kind of filmmaker who just doesn't think about the next movie before he has completely finished the movie he is working on."
For now, Nolan is taking a well-earned vacation.
Says Roven, "When he comes back, we will see how he feels."
Does this mean Cher herself will be directing in Nolan's absence? I'm pretty sure that's what they're saying. So there it is: Nolan is leaving, Cher is stepping in, and this guy is the new Batman, making Ledger's Joker suddenly seem far less disturbing.

i'm sure cher could pull off the catwoman thing. she's a great actress despite the age and plastic look. even if nolan doesn't return for a third movie, the studio will just find someone else to direct. i'd like to see another tim burton batman film

This is a secret list discovered in Chris Nolan's by the cleaning woman I paid to do it.
Riddler- Mike Myers
Russell Crowe- Man Bat
Kate Beckinsale- Catwoman
THE PLOT- Batman turns to Dr. Kirk Langston for help after Riddler breaches the Gotham Center for Disease Control. Langston creates a toxin to neutralize a deadly virus the two threaten to unleash.
During this process, the constant exposure to the toxin turns Langston into Man Bat. At first, Man Bat helps Batman to thwart Riddler, but as his mind degenerates, he turns on Batman when he tries to get Langston to submit to testing.
Bruce Wayne meets Selena Kyle and begins a romance.
Man Bat attempts to kill Kyle by pushing her to her death from a building. Kyle does not die, instead being revived by neighborhood cats she mistakes for being her saviors. Kyle believes it was the Batman that tried to kill her and swears revenge.
Batman still raw from the loss of Rachel Dawes, seeks vengeance against Man Bat for ostensibly costing him another love.
In the final showdown, Batman fights Man Bat in the batcave. Alfred is seriously injured acting as a decoy to allow Batman to kill ManBat.
In the final scene, at Alred's hospital bedside, Selena Kyle returns to the astonishment and delight of Wayne. Wayne decides this time, he will not risk another loved one's life and asks Kyle to move in with him.
The film ends with Wayne hoping Kyle can live with his little secrets. Kyle assures Wayne she can't imagine any of Bruce's secrets being that bad.

"There are a lot of us who emotionally would love to do it..."
Yes, I'm sure emotion has everything to do with it.
