Aug 25 2008'4ast 4 4ourious (Four)' Trailer
God, gas prices, am I right? Sometimes it's like you've got to get Vin Diesel and his crew, drive out to the Dominican Republic, and find some highly improbable way to steal a fully loaded gasoline land train, assuming such a thing exists. Right?
I hope Vin later tackles how airport security is so crazy. Like by driving a car through the metal detector.
How about that reveal, where you learn it's VIN FUCKING DIESEL driving the car? I was all like, "H. shit!"

I saw the trailer infront of Death Race and I asked my friend "What the fuck is a land train?"..and I ask again..
What the fuck is a land train?
2. Count Orlock - August 25, 2008 6:15 PM
4lso since when did tr4ins start flying through the 4ir...or flo4ting on the w4ter?
I always thought trains where on the ground....odd

Happy to help Count Orlock (never said that statement before)....
Train= "cars" connected with one driver (conductor) , on rails.
Land Train= Truck led tankers connected with one driver, on wheels.
Seems like once you saw the visual, you could figure it out. I mean it's not like they tried to hide what they are referring to.

gives me a headache.
so the whole train is worth 1.4 million but they dont bother saving one of the 5 trucks from falling off the cliff with a rough value of about $250.000 but rather let it crash and go up in flames in favor of a beautifully crafted cinematic explosion?
5. Count Orlock - August 25, 2008 7:31 PM
It was a rhetorical question lol...

So, apparently this is Mad Max meets the Fast and the Furious. Was there an apocalyptic event that occurred in the two sequels that I was not aware of? Or is that going to happen in the prequel Vin Diesel is directing? Maybe all the street racing produces so much in green house gas emissions that the world suddenly crumbles and street racers start picking off land trains carryin gas(I didn't know they did that?) to continue with their Earth destroying habit. Makes sense to me.
Another thing, can you really call something a prequel when there are three movies preceeding the events in it in the series?
7. Buddy "The Truth" Love - August 25, 2008 10:03 PM
@Nick
The only way it can be called a prequel is if there's yet another movie to be released in which the events take place after the events of the prequel. Knowing Vin Diesel though, the next movie will be a pre-prequel of some sort. WITH XPLOZIONZ LOL.

WHERE IS LUDACRIS!!?
9. Rik - August 26, 2008 1:13 AM
This is supposed to be a prequel?
Doesn't look like it to me.
10. King Midas - August 26, 2008 5:40 AM
Why don't they lookin for somethin new? they've lost the original storyline, where are beautiful underground sportcars? or underground races? who the F**K really cares about stealin or somethin? it really sucks that they're trying to make that goddamn stories again with more lies and stupid scenes...
11. whistle - August 26, 2008 7:16 AM
I'm with King Midas, why don't they looking for something new?
12. KING_ANONYMOUS - August 26, 2008 7:45 AM
michelle rodriquez, i love her.
13. Caly - August 26, 2008 7:59 AM
It looks like an over the top, crazy, fun ride. Which is pretty much all the movies ever were. And I like them just like that.
14. zach - August 26, 2008 10:00 AM
thank you iwatchstuff writer for referring to the movie as '4ast 4 4urious'.
it made my day.
15. Ihatediesel - August 26, 2008 10:58 AM
Vin Diesel is a fucking homo and fast and the furious would be better without him fucking it up with his horrible acting.
16. lala0428 - August 26, 2008 11:51 AM
Why did they make this movie?? What story could they possibly have left to tell? Just let the franchise die already.
17. jecka - August 26, 2008 2:11 PM
so....the driver was totally expecting his gas to get jacked, thats why he had a gun. yup.
and, the value went down since they lost 1/3 of their goods, right?
well, i'm sure all these questions will be answered in the movie. they wouldnt dare leave us hanging with plot holes, now would they?
18. squirrel - August 26, 2008 2:31 PM
You don't fucking need LUDACRIS when the fucking movie is LUDICROUS!
19. Eru - August 26, 2008 2:37 PM
Did I just saw some lesbian action?
20. RadioRaheem - August 26, 2008 4:25 PM
So how does REDLINE play into this??? Racing movies need no plot...as long as the cars aren't going in circles like nascar its all good.
21. kimw - August 26, 2008 5:23 PM
#10 King Midas - If you actually watched the original movie, you would know that they streetraced but they also stole products from trucks in the desert to afford those cars.....if you saw the end of the first one, they show scenes similar to the ones in the trailer.....ignorance doesn't exactly make for amusement....
22. mandellska - August 26, 2008 5:24 PM
its a prequel because this film explains what happens between 2fast and tokyo drift because it all just seemed like it was a new series when tokyo drift happened.
this stars sung kang as Han again and shows how him and dominic become friends and so on.
also jordana(mia) and michelle(letty) are both back in this but apparently letty dies in the opening scene?
im not sure, i just hope they dont ruin the franchise with this film.
23. Kack - August 26, 2008 9:21 PM
It sucks that they're not going to use the plot point at the end of Tokyo Drift. I wanted to see Vid Diesal's character race Sean Boswell like they teased at the end of Tokyo Drift.
24. heartlessangel7 - August 30, 2008 3:00 AM
Ummm yeah, there will be a 5, 6, and a 7. Race movies don't need a plot. The plots are ridiculous excuses to show off the cars. Also as far as investments go, I know I would invest every dollar knowing I'd get it back cuzz I know dummies like me would go waste their money watching this stuff. I noticed they threw a few domestics. another ploy to make more money.

Why don't you nerds stop hating on this film. It will most likely be a kick ass movie. They can easily make a legit movie with the original cast, you all act like they're bringing a 35 year old macauley culkin back for home alone 7 or something. Just go to the theatre, buy some popcorn and soda, sit back and enjoy a 90 minute spectacle of fast cars and explosions. Stop being such panzies and worrying about storylines and shit, you all sound like a bunch of chicks. Are your feelings going to be hurt if the plot is a little unreal?
26. afds - September 2, 2008 12:59 PM
hahaha.... dropping the 'THE's to change it from 'The Fast and the Furious' to 'Fast and Furious' just makes it sound like a Porno about angry rough sex....
27. SoMuchJoe - September 9, 2008 12:15 PM
This might actually be... good?
28. bR1an - September 10, 2008 7:03 PM
Bring on the NAWS!!
29. Matty - September 12, 2008 7:57 PM
I didn't even know they made a third one..
and as far as the "dropping the the's" stuff.. i assume.. and stop me if i'm reading slightly too much into a series about people who chase 18 (and sometimes 40) wheelers down the highway trying to highjack their goods using cars that weigh about 1/12-1/30 (respectively) of that of their pursuee... but i think the original title being "The Fast and the Furious" is representative of the characters by way of the direct article "The".. where as the new title suggest the manor in which something is being done by way of the adverbs "Fast" and "Furious"... or i suppose they could be adjectives depending on context..
ok.. i concede.. angry rough sex it is...
30. bigcrunch - September 18, 2008 3:30 AM
yep im going to go see this one no matter how silly ppl think it is im going to see this movie i mean at least they got back what seemed like mostly all the original cast and you know the cars are gonna be awesome and all the hot chicks this is going to be a blockbuster watch next year it will make like 30-40 mil opening week
31. Juanzo - September 27, 2008 1:19 PM
They have a couple of trucks in it. That's cool. Fast Cars, NAWZ, exploder-booms, and Michelle Rodriguez. I'm there.
