Jul 16 2008'Vikings v. Alien Freak' Trailer, Volume II

outlander-trailer-2.jpg

It seems like only yesterday (it was Friday) I first became aware of the epic, ongoing struggle between Viking, crash-landed space pilot, and alien beast with glowing eyes when I saw the trailer for Outlander. Now, days later, there's already a second preview for this timeless match-up?! I hope this isn't a sign that we're headed towards a non-stop, Dark Knight-style viral campaign assault from Outlander, full of alien-defaced images of Norsemen, growled telephone calls from space beasts, and Dominos pizzas ads wherein aliens and vikings feud over toppings. Wait, no, I do hope that.

Thanks to B-Rad for the tip.

A bit of a stretch. I doubt I'd actually pay to see that film. I'll still probably sneak in to see it, though. :P

I'm there.

some people take movies too seriously, this looks like outrageuosly fun action

Someone should tell the writer of this movie that you can't just add a bunch of things together that are individually super badass and then have it make any kind of sense. Dragons + Vikings + Spaceships = only awesome if you are 9 years old.

Great, yet another adaptation Beowolf. Can we please start paying writers for original ideas?

The cast is incredible (Jesus, Hellboy, and Prof. Broom) and there hasn't been a whole lot of Viking or Alien movies worth anything lately so this is exactly the kind of film the world needs. Sure to become a cult classic. Even if its bad, I'm sure it'll be hilariously bad enough or amusing enough to warrant multiple viewings.

This looks so much more interesting than 80% of the shit that's going to be here by the end of the year. No it will not be anything special or amazing.... I'm going to go snuggle my plush WALL•E now... Maybe get some ammo from BnL

Isn't a line like "From One of the Producers of Lord of the Rings" the kind of thing you put in a trailer for a gag film?

Why did the other producers pass on this opportunity?
