Columbia Pictures has announced that Alicia Keys and The White Stripes' Jack White will be providing the theme song to Quantum of Solace. From Coming Soon:

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, producers of the highly anticipated 22nd James Bond adventure Quantum of Solace, announced today that multi-Grammy Award-winning and platinum selling recording artists Jack White of the rock band The White Stripes, and Alicia Keys, have recorded the theme song for the film, which will be released worldwide this November.

Their song, written and produced by Jack White, and titled "Another Way to Die," will be the first duet in Bond soundtrack history. In addition to writing the song, Jack White is also featured as the drummer on this track.

As a reminder, Chris Cornell provided the theme to Casino Royale. To put that in perspective, that's like going from the lead singer of Soundgarden to absolutely anyone relevant. Metaphorically.

Im so proud of you that you deem them reasonable. Your making great progress.

Am I the only one who like the Casino Royal intro? wait, what? I am? well damn, guess I'll listen to my Chris Cornell's greatest hits album alone

Well, I have never seen a James Bond movie but I plan to break that cycle with Quantum. I think these two artists can do something really cool...or it will be a complete and total cluster%^&#. We'll see.

#3 I hadn't either until Casino Royale. Go watch it. It's amazing. Plus I bet it will help with following the next one.

If Jack White wrote it.....IT will be good.

#5 - Thanks! I plan on it - I'm pretty sure my fiance has it.

Chris Cornell sings like Yosemite Sam with his pubic hairs are on fire, so this is a definite upgrade.

NICE! My friend recommended me a very interesting place ☆☆☆"NYwealthyMatch . c o m""""""""☆☆☆ If you’ve ever been there you will know what I mean….

You do realize that you have "Jack Black" under the title in the more section, right..?

I'm sorry.

No one else gets the sarcasm? I'd bet that most of the sane world would rather hear "Black Hole Sun" than any horrible piece of White Stripes trash or another "I Sound Like I'm Black" Alicia Keys piece. Ugh didn't we get sick of that after Norah Jones's 15 min of fame?

While I agree with #10 that "Black Hole Sun" is a great song, I would remind him that that song was Sound Garden, not Chris Cornell alone. Much like Sting, Axel Rose, Rob Thomas, or Phil Collins; Chris Cornell is a waste of time without Sound Garden. Also, what was with the Alicia Keys "I Sound Like I'm Black" comment; maybe I need glasses but I thought she was black. I mean, you sound like a raciest redneck but you were still able to find your thumbs and learn the internet, so see, we aren't all defined by just what we're born into.

yeah, it will be good!

If this doesn't inspire the world to unite, nothing will....

WTF Jack WTF

sweet jesus Alicia Keys is hot. tell Fish to get some bikini pics of her up so i can get my fap on. (sans unusual body hair this time, please)

Chris Cornell has been considered, by many premier rock musicians, to have one of the best voices in rock for years. Albeit he may not be your cup of tea, at least he doesn't need to include gibberish into his songs to fill up empty space and match rhyme sequencing, i.e. Jack White- "Icky Thump" However, if Alicia Keys is prancing around and keeps her mouth shut, I'm sold. Kardashian has some competition in the booty department there.
