Jul 17 2008'Quantum of Solace' Poster: James Bond, Moon Patrol

First Showing has revealed a new poster for Quantum of Solace. Really, why are they trying so hard to make it look like this Bond takes place on the surface of an alien planet? I mean, a Moon Patrol movie should definitely happen, but if this isn't it, let's not tease.

FIRST!!!

He looks smaller then usual...is he shrinking??

What a stupid poster, why is he peering around something and why did he think it was a good idea to steal Optimus Prime's gun ?

That's an MP5 with an extended clip and a suppressor if I'm not mistaken.

Also it's got a folding stock...all it needs is a force reflex sight and he'd have himself a mighty fine weapon.

Gun Bully...

They had tons of trailer footage of him walking towards us but, no, we had to get the awkward photo collage of him so he wouldn't be wearing sunglasses. Bravo!

I like the looks of that Q in "Quantum".

F this, let's talk Dark Knight!

The only problem with a James Bond movie set on the moon is that he'd have to wear a space suit over his real suit, and there's sort of no way to make the girl wear a bikini space-suit.

Also, what villains are there on the moon?

The smokey background look is popular for posters this season isn't it :p

At least it suites here though, I'm quite excited for this film but I can't concentrate with The Dark Knight so close @______________@!

#4: Sorry, you're mistaken. It's actually an H&K UMP... with an extended clip and suppressor. ;-)

The UMP on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%26K_UMP

And it REALLY does look like he's on the moon or Mars. That's what I thought immediately. You mean he's not supposed to be? Rats.

I can't wait!

This movie poster looks so bland. Is it hinting at how boring it might be?
