Jul 29 2008New 'Spirit' Poster from Some Art School Punks
Lionsgate had a pretty good idea. Instead of continuing to overlay text on cheeks and add accompanying audio, how about letting some art school kids have at it? So they did, and here's the first from the Art Institute of California-San Diego. I wonder how many attempts it took to get a design that didn't have "sort of an anti-war thing, man, because I'm totally getting into political shit."

These were all over store windows in San Diego for comic-con. I thought it was pretty cool.

It's humor. Lighten up yourself.
Where the hell do these people come from, and why do they always complain?

The posters are great, I want one.

I liked the poster so much that I grab one from the window display of one restaurant, and just run like hell . My reason: I couldn't find it at the comic-con.

So, the Spirit is in fact Secret Squirrel?

yeah, the sarcasm was funny the first 100 times, but now he just comes across as an angry nerd who has to find something to complain about for absolutely everything. Youdon't have to bitch about the subject matter for every post to be funny.

That is totally the Neighborhood Watch mascot from various Canadian neighborhoods.
Unfortunatley the only image I could find from it was this http://www.spraypaintstencils.com/a-zlistings/neighborhood-watch-image.gif
but that is totally the dude...what a bunch of biters.

Oh my God #9 I thought people could not be that stupid! That's their whole point! They want it to look like the neighborhood watch posters... I think. At least that's what I got from it.

She looks good in that dress. I saw her at millionaire persoanals site """"""""""""NYwealthyMatch . c o m""""""""""yesterday. It is said she is already in relationship with a young billionaire on that site now. Is she single now?

Hey, Dan (not dan or the other dan, I think there are three in total) if the blog bothers you so much....I think you see where I'm going with this.
I, for one, enjoy getting my entertainment news with a healthy dose of salt.
But I do like this poster.

You see complaining, the rest of us see making fun of something. You think The Superficial guy is complaining when he makes fun of how Britney Spears looks in a bikini?
I personally like this style of humor. This website is for people who do.
If you don't like it, why keep coming to this site and complain?

#1: good one, that made me laugh :D
I'm not too excited for this movie, but I have to admit I kind of like this poster. It looks pretty cool.

It's a lot better if you try to imagine that little notch is his mouth, as was said above. Once you see it that way you can't go back.
Oh, and the movie will be shit.
