Jul 1 2008'Pineapple Express' Character Posters Clear Up Confusion That It's a Hawaiian Wrestling Movie

Looks like producer Judd Apatow (who I'm only familiar with as a nameless "guy" who brought me something else) is sticking with the tried and true "here's someone's head" model of poster design for Pineapple Express. Placing this side-by-side with the Knocked Up poster gives you a retrospective glance at high school, remembering the chubby, awkward kid who transformed into a complete stoner by senior year. Following this progression, I can only assume the next poster will somehow imply Seth Rogen is nearing 30 but still attending high school parties to deal drugs and attempt statutory rape.

Under the cut: stoned James Franco!

i loved superbad, and Franco stoned looks like a lot of fun (from what i saw in the trailer), Rogen is so last years though.

SEVENTH!

The mere presence of Seth Rogen's face on anything ever makes me want to puke my lungs out.

This is not the way to sell a movie.

There's actually a larger-than-life scale 3-d stand up type poster thing for this movie at my local theatre and I *really* like it, but these sheet posters are just lazy :s

Aaaaaand it's official. I hate this man.

There are 3 missing moles on Seth Rogens face when you compare this to the Knocked Up poster!

Im actually upset that they managed to make james franco look bad. That man is too hot to look like this...damn

This movie looks fucking funny, so everyone who says they hate Seth Rogen can stick a copy of "Jeff Dunham's Spark of Insanity"* up their ass.

* I assume people who find Seth Rogen unamusing find rehashed vaudeville/puppetry funny.

Did you just make fun of the JalapeƱo on a stick..?!

I think Seth Rogan is funny, even if he does pretty much play the same character in every movie. What the heck, though. If Mike Meyers can do it...

The Franco poster looks wicked badly photoshopped

"From the guys that brought you ..." Awww...that's classic. They're not producers. They're "guys" like you and me. And they've brought you something. These "guys" are great. What will they brought us next????

@10

Don't forget about Ben Stiller

They're good at looking stoned (and I don't think they're that great at acting)

@ emily [#8]

I find Seth Rogen and ventriloquism both funny. Especially Jeff Dunham. And I have never been disappointed by any Judd Apatow movie I've seen.

@ 13 LOL

Or Will Ferrell. :)

i have a standup of this movie with seth rogen, james franco, and danny mcbride on it. if anyone wants to buy that or any of the other movie standups i have from me, contact me via email cooboy663377@hotmail.com. thanks
