Jul 3 2008'Mirrors' Red-Band Trailer (Did I Mention These Mirrors Are DEADLY???)

mirrors-red-band-trailer.jpg

As you'll recall if you were unfortunate enough to have watched the first trailer to Mirrors, mirrors are horrific, dangerous devices that should not be trifled with. Once thought to be innocent reflecting surfaces, they have since been revealed to possess the ability to blur and distort faces with powers that rival Photoshop--and in this movie, they're after Jack Bauer!

Now there's a new red-band trailer that reveals more of the mysterious, terrifying nature of mirrors. They can make you physically tear your face in half with your hands! And if you think you can flee to the safety of all that standing water that's on your dining room floor for no apparent reason, you're wrong: it turns out that counts as a mirror! Doorknobs too!

Silent Hill did it first

I think it's about time to make another go at a Silent Hill movie, while we're on that topic. Just forget the one from a couple years ago, Hulk-style.

Mirrors. Hmm. It actually looks... not terrible. Like, it will be bland, only very mildly scary, and kinda gross, yet also passable in a crap-horror way.

Probably a good movie to take a couple tabs of acid for...

Actually, Gerald Durrell did it first with "The Entrance".

Anyone remember Poltergeist III?

Oh man, if Amy Smart did actually pull her face off I might actually fuck her.

Just me or did that woman try to drown her child at the end of the trailer? Red band indeed.

So THIS is what I've reduced myself to to get my Kiefer fix until 24 returns?

I think I need a 12-step program...

Maa this might be a cool but sick movie. I will go watch.

No, not Silent Hill and not The Entrance.
Poltergeist.
Where the guy is ripping his own melting face off.

Pretty decent graphics, but that dumb ass kid's line at the end ruined it.

The comments on some of these articles remind me of IMDb, such undeserved hate.

Movies don't have graphics.

They aren't video games.

Of COURSE someone did it first, this is yet another remake of a Korean horror flick. They're just being sneakier about it now by changing titles and not bragging about it like before.

ah the good ol' break appart jaw trick, never get's old ;)

This movie looks pretty good actually.

looks like a beastie movie i think ill go see it

Hmmmm, could be interesting

doesn't look that bad. as long as its gory i think it would be quite entertaining.

so alexandre aja is a good director, which makes me excited for this. he also did 'high tension,' which is super-gnarly and got that french touch going on ;)

anyway, mirrors ARE kinda scary

Horror movies, making us afraid to watch video tapes, go to japan, take pictures, or look in a mirror.
