Marvel has a new series of animated, straight-to-DVD projects in the works in which the Hulk fights other Marvel characters who, coincidentally enough, have movies coming out in the next few years. Adam has graciously pointed out a preview to the first in the series, appropriately named Hulk vs. Wolverine. (It's appropriate because Hulk and Wolverine fight.)
The first time I tried to watch it here, only the audio would play, making it a disturbing but decidedly more entertaining clip than with accompanying video. So I suggest hitting play, turning off the monitor, turning up the volume, and allowing your ears to decide what it is Wolverine does that "isn't very nice." Your neighboring co-workers will thank you.

I never understood this fight that seems to happen every few years in the marvelverse...
Hulk can pick up mountains versus a due who heals fast, has unbreakable bones, normal strength and has a nose like a bloodhound. Just pick up the midget and throw him far far away. geesh
It was as unbelievable as Capt American thinking he could go mano-y-mano with the Hulk in the Ultimates...Stupid

I'm never one to deny my own dorkdom so here goes
Wolverine's first ever appearance was as a villain in the Hulk Comic pretty early on in the series I believe, so this match up actually makes some sense... and I'm sure will make some dollars to fund Stan Lee's next cameo inspired cinematic endeavor

Of course the Hulk is going to fight characters who have upcoming films. Given how many Marvel characters have upcoming films or sequels in their franchises--Ant Man, Captain America, Thor, The Avengers, Wolverine,(and presumably other Iron Man, and Fantastic Four films), etc. it'd be kinda hard to find an opponent for him and not make it be one of these people. And since Wolverine first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #180 (or was it 181), there's a certain source material logic to this.

Is there some kind of law that modern cartoons have to look retarded? It's either anime or it's so ridiculously stylized that any pretense of seriousness is destroyed (just like anime). Someone bring back the 90's.

Yikes! that screamed at the start sounded awful!
And when the Hulk got sliced at the end, it sounded as if Wolverine sliced open his throat.
