actually is slightly trying to save this movie from shitsville in my eyes. now if that Master Rochi i saw was pre production and he really ends up looking good then that would be great. if he looks like Inspector Tequila Yuen with a Hawaiian shirt then my anger would resurface in the form of a flying ninja kick into the directors nuts.

Goku fights his way through hordes of fans to meet his role models, the german band Tokio Hotel. There he fights the singer, to prove who has the biggest power and/or most original hair style.

Its a decent anime series. Here lies the problem, CGI is nowhere good enough to do a movie of this caliber right now. Maybe in 10-20 years it could be good but its just not going to happen I do not think with todays technology. I really would like to see it as a good movie that did the series justice but I keep getting the feeling its going to have those awesome SciFi channel cgi graphics we all love to hate.

To be safe... let the movie just open it's theater in Japan Only. This is very reminiscent of Mario Bros. It's too extreme, in my view, to be appealing to the general audience.

Goku is supposed to be huge or a tiny midget. This dude looks more like a normal person not a roid rage machine like Goku looks.

I liked the series, but my biggest beef was that it took forever to get anywhere because a single fight would last through like a dozen episodes. That having been said, this will probably be crap, but at least it will only be less than two hours of crap.

That poster isn't accurate at all. It would take at least ten posters to get to the part where he actually has the dragonball, and then maybe another six until he's in the desert.

You can't really judge the film without seeing it, they have some great actors playing the parts.

I have went to IMDB which says this is a Dragon Ball Movie not a Dragon Ball Z. Which is still cool but much rather see a DBZ movie! So anyways Dragon Ball the series have always been of course in a 1,2,3 order never just skipping around. as the movies skip all over the place! So since Piccolo is the villian im guessing this is the Evil Lord Piccolo story in which goku has to stop Piccolo (btw spoiler maybe????) gather the Dragon balls to stop him before piccolo gathers them to take over the world. which is messed up because goku was just a kid (a small child that is) that fights piccolo! Makes me mad because in the series Krillin is not in the saga and seems to not be in the movie either! chi chi is there yamcha and bulma are in it and Ox king but not sure if he is in the movie. should provide to be interesting to say the least about how they go about making this film......to bad it isn't a DBZ movie i would love to see how the pull off making him super sayin but that would be during or some time after the freeza fight.......

Okay first of all, to anyone who has said that there isn't enough advancement in graphics to pull off the fights in the movie, think again and remember the last installment of the Matrix. Though it was a bit dark, mostly to hide the character model flaws, it was proven possible that big ariel fights can be pulled off. As for CG, which would be a safer rought that live action, look at Final Fantasy: Advent Children. This shows what realistic CG modeling can do, albeit, there would be a hell of a delay from the desired release date(s) set, but would give the overall feel to both Fans and first-time viewers of the characters. And as to the rest of it, make educated (think before you write) replies to what you learn about the movie. Personally, wether the movie sucks or not, it would be more of a learning experience for either a sequal or a remake in the future. I mean come on people have open minds and realize the potential that computers and film studios already have at their fingertips, if they either push the boundries of avalible tech, to pull this off. Is there not one other person who realizes how far CG imaging has come. Seriously though I do think that this movie can be pulled off and done with great precission.

I have a friend that works in the costume design industry in LA and is great friends with the woman who designed the costumes for this movie... let me say this... its definitely NOT her fault if this movie sucks. She went through literally 300 costume designs that were amazing and true to the series and the production agency kept turning her down, they kept changing everything to be more marketable and sexy rather than true to the series, i can only imagine they are going to do that with every aspect of the movie. IT WILL NOT BE A TRUE DBZ movie.
