I want to see this just because Ian McShane is amazing and he appears to be in a fair amount of the movie. Besides which, it doesn't really appear to take itself seriously, which is really the only thing I can't abide in a movie.

This film is a travasty to the classic film death race 2000. where too score bonus points you have to kill old /reilgious /young ,or anyone for that mattrer. A companyed by customised killing mobiles (Sylveste rStallone gangster car) And a film where you never see the protaganists face insted we're given this half finished crap with "The Transporter" and a minority. It seems to me like the studio became over enthusiastic about classics and revived something it was'nt ready for and smeard HOLLYWOOD endding all over it. Boo is what i say

Death Race 2000 was a great film when I was a kid. Haven't seen it since and probably would think it to be retarded now. However, I wonder how close this new one will follow the plot?
