Jul 11 20083D Tyrannosaurus Rex Concept Art!!!

OK, it's not a 3D Tyrannosaurus Rex. But when Brad sent over the link, I thought that's what the email said, and I was pathetically excited. "Someone improved the design of a Tyrannosaurus!? What could they have done? Dear god, more mouths!? In 3D!?" As it turns out, it's just the 3rd piece of concept art from Rob Zombie's Tyrannosaurus Rex movie, which is not nearly as exciting.

This is the second piece of concept art to imply there will be giant, fire-based dinosaurs in the film's background. This needs to actually happen. Here's a way to implement it:

"We've got you now, Rex."

"I don't think so--I brought back up."

"You wha--oh shit! Tyrannosaurus Rexes made of pure flame are coming! From the background!"

I spy...a penis.

on the motorcycle?

or the gun and the headlights?

wtf, i guess only rednecks read this bullshit.

Not sure if anyone else remembers this - but there was a comic series in the mid 80's called Savage Tales. It usually had 3 to 4 very violent stories and on-going series in each magazine. Anyway, It didn't run long (I've actually got all of 8-9 of them), but this movie poster is ripping off/emulating that comic's art cover style.

Brought back good memories though...

This kind of reminds me a lot of those Conan covers too, but with motocycles and guns and stuff. Same savagery, though. Loks like he's trying to make an X-tremed-out version of Natural Born Killers or something. I predict a lot of 70's style misogynism mixed with unnecessary violence.

I look forward to the soundtrack which will hopefully be entirely comprised of Rob Zombie style T. Rex covers and remixes.
