Jun 17 2008'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' Poster Makes No Mention of Notable Director, Girl-on-Girl Kissing
Yeah, don't make it obvious that this is a Woody Allen film. Who's that guy anyway? No need to mention him in any prominent way. But do mention that "life is the ultimate work of art," because that's the kind of meaningless, motivational poster statement that really sells a movie. That's why Iron Man was marketed primarily under the taglines, "You are what you dream" and "Teamwork."

I am thinking that might be the guy from the Oscar winning movie: No Country for Old Men. That dude with the terrible haircut.

Yes, snark. You're on top of that. Anyway, whoever put this poster together was smart enough to know Woody Allen hasn't put out a decent film in, oh, three decades. It's smart marketing to know that no one in the past two/three generations would give a crap if Woody Allen directed anything, and most people old enough to remember when the name Woody Allen was equated with good films are sick to death of his new crap films anyway.

I just might have to go see this, if there's even a remote possibility of girl-on-girl kissing with Scarlett Johansson. I can't help it. It's a guy thing. :) Oh, and that No Country for Old Men dude was in P.S. I Love You looking all normal too.

Well that's going to be a crap film.
And to all of you ignorants that don't know about movies, that is JAVIER BARDEM, you fucking idiots. Don't forget that name, he's got more serious coming up movies and will win many more oscars. So keep up morons.

Don't be so elitist, Mr. Bean. Just because someone don't say an actor's name in their comment that doesn't make them a moron. Everyone obviously knew who he was talking about. It doesn't take a genious to go on IMDB and read a name, so why don't you try dropping the attitude? This site is intended for fun, not for serious film commentary. You're like the dead half of Siskel and Ebert on here.
