Jun 19 2008'The Wackness' Red-Band Trailer is Totally Wack, Other Crazy '90s Slang

Still aren't sure you're willing to buy into a "period piece" set in mid-'90s? Uncomfortable paying to see Mary-Kate Olsen attempting a role that isn't half of a madcap twinship? The sight of a depressed, 18-year-old, drug-dealing virgin all too familiar? Then you probably don't want to see The Wackness when it hits theaters July 3. But if you want to see a first-person POV of flicking off people and a former Gandhi taking a bong hit, then you're definitely going to want to at least watch the red-band trailer. And it's under the cut!

doesn't look half bad....looks like independent films are more stimulating and original nowadays than the mainstream, big budget films.......i want to see this......

You're right this doesn't look half bad.

I'm not a big Olsen twin fan and although Mary-Kate didn't do such a bad job in Weeds she was still uncomfortable to watch. I think they should focus on other things than acting.

weird as hell, the kid who deals in this flick, is on a Disney Channel show...fell off the tree a little far if you ask me.

yea i think its a little soon for a 90s homage sort of movie and maybe the acting isnt all that brilliant but still it has something....something nice about it.

Total nostalgia piece for the mid-twenties set...I'm so in.

The good thing about the trailer is that there was only 0.5 second of that olsen thwat

BONG HITS!!!!!!!

Saw this at the Sydney Film Festival a couple of days ago and it's well worth a watch. Ben Kingsley's most fun role since playing himself on The Sopranos

Nickelodeon, not Disney, but yeah whatever. At least he's expanding.
