Jun 20 2008New 'WALL-E' Trailer Called 'Cities' For Whatever Reason

wall-e-cities-trailer.jpg

Pixar has released a new trailer for WALL-E titled "Cities," though I'm not sure why, because it neither focuses on cities or plays the Talking Heads song Cities. It does, however, indulge in lots and lots of robot screaming, so it sounds like you're living inside R2-D2's tortured psyche. Just what I wanted in a movie: hellish, digitized wheezing expressing constant robot panic.

I actually can't wait for this movie. sure its a kid's movie, but it looks cool. plus, it would be a good date movie. maybe....

@1 - If you took me to this movie on a date, I wouldn't call you back.

Spoiler:
WALL-E dies at the end.
Of ROBO-AIDS.
The irony is that he doesn't even get it from having robo-sex (he dies a virgin), but rather from a dirty toilet seat he touches while handling piles of trash.

whats up with the handheld camera effect towards the end of the clip??? did god's allseeing view I.E. the viewer just suddenly switch to a hand DV cam without a godlike tripod???

oh man..at least there was some action in this clip and not just same homoerotic robo slapstick.

You know, if they actually included Talking Heads' "Cities", it might, might be cool. But it's a Disney movie (yes folks, they own Pixar) so it'll only be kinda cool. Nah who am I kidding? Disney sucks. Eat it, Mickey.

wow you guys are clever and edgy. LOL AIDS AND MICKEY MOUSE SUCKS!!11one.

go get jobs.

and brianna, youd probably be more at home at a bbq/barber shop movie, no doubt starring martin lawrence or ice cube.

Wall-E totally looks like the robot from "Short Circuit"... minus the cheesy 80's style
