Jun 13 2008New 'Dark Knight' Trailer is Rad, Contraband
I know the market for Dark Knight media has become a bit over-saturated (that point came around the time I stooped to posted a Batman milk ad), but a new trailer to the much-anticipated sequel just debuted on Comcast's On-Demand service and illicitly found its way online, so I think that justifies a post. In exchange for your tolerance, I'll stop work on my Dark Knight Fruit Snack exposé, even thought it was going to blow some minds.

Tight. So that's how they plan on making Harvey Dent Two Face. Can't wait to see his burnt up face.

How many trailers is too many trailers? Wait don't answer because if you act now you get this fuckin Ginsu knife FREE!!! It cuts a can as easily as it slices through a tomato.

Pretty good, but I think the second trailer is the best so far, even though this one did have more 'splosions and shirtless Christian Bale. You're right about the publicity over-saturation, but somehow my excitment has remained unabated since the first teaser trailer.

I still can't stand the new Batmobile. It looks like a Decepticon stool sample.

These trailers need more of Ledgers psychotic joker laugh

@bah
you are a dumbass, if you put together all the footage that has been released, including the bank heist, you are probably looking at like 7-8 minute of actual film, trust me, you havent seen anything yet.

@ Jonny D - I'm totally psyched to see Harvey's transformation, too. But every time I see the trailer and hear Harvey's "you die or become the bad guy" speech, I cringe a little at the obvious foreshadowing. I can't help but wonder if it would have been better to just let people discover it watching the movie.
An aside - Back in the day, I was hoping to they'd let Billy Dee Williams become the first black Two-Face in the worst way.

@dvq
what is this "sarcasm" you speak of?
besides, if you lived in a major city where advertising for this movie is all over the god damn place like it is here, you'd want to kill heath ledger too. oh shit, too soon?

@ MOSkito
'These trailers definitely need more of the Joker's psychotic Joker laugh.'
Definitely agree. His Joker laugh is amazing *_______*

I HOPE THAT HEATH`S PERFORMANCE WILL BLOW EVERYBODY AWAY!

In all honesty, five minutes straight of joker laughing would do it for me, I don't see why they're trying so hard.

This isn't his last preformance- Heath filmed part of a Terry Gilliam movie and they're keeping what he did in. Look on Imdb people!
Oh, and YEAH! I LOVE Gary Oldman, best actor on the fucking planet

#10: I really liked your comment. Although anyone who even knows the tiniest bit of the batman series knows what happens to Harvey Dent, I have cringed every time Eckhart says that line. And now in combination with the acid scene..then again, IMDB already has both roles listed x.x The scene looked a lot like the portrayal in The Long Halloween. Too bad Gilda didn't make it in!
Billy Dee would have been so awesome in that role back in the day..but I'm pretty happy with Eckhart. He's good at showing a really polarized character.
Too bad they don't have Gilda Dent in the movie..lots of interesting story lines there!

Ya know, I want to watch the Dark Knight so bad I would sell a kidney.
but I thought that this trailer, was soooooooooooo bland.
had this been the first trailer that I had seen, I would have doubts about the movie.

21. Casey - June 18, 2008 11:46 PM
If you notice Aaron Eckhart's face in the car in the last scene that he is shown in the trailer, you can tell that half of it is burnt, charred, something. Look again. It's available for download on Xbox Live in HD!!
22. John - June 20, 2008 1:23 AM
Watch first thirty minutes of Monster's Ball then the last thirty of the Patriot then watch a Knight's Tale long story short Dark Knight plus Heath Ledger kicks the shit out of Aaliyagh plus Queen of the Damned
23. niko\m/ - June 27, 2008 5:27 PM
nice movie.....:X:X
24. Pooky - June 27, 2008 6:58 PM
This trailer is boring. It makes me want to wait for this movie to come out on video.
25. sDot2K0 - June 30, 2008 7:39 PM
some of you gotta be kidding yourselves...if you think there is going to be a better superhero movie then this that comes out for the next 5-6 years, you're probably kidding yourselves...early reviews say this is the best Batman movie yet...thats a very bold statement dogging on Keaton,Jack,DeVito,Walkin.. a lot of major hollywood players.... so quit bagging this trailer and just wait 17 days and see it for yourself
