Jun 13 2008'My Winnipeg' Clip Reveals Frozen Horse Heads = Love Makin'
The semi-autobiographical pseudo-documentary My Winnipeg opens today at the IFC Center, and if you live in the New York City area, you should probably see that this weekend instead of The Incredible Hulk or The Happening (unless either of those is currently sponsoring this site, in which case you should obviously see those). If you go tonight or tomorrow at 6:15, 8:20, or 10:20, writer/director Guy Maddin will be there! I'll probably be there at some point! And if those two amazing presences aren't enough to convince you, watch this clip from Cinematical that implies a collection of frozen horse heads emerging from the snowy fields of Winnipeg lead to physical romance. What more do you want?

yeah, I live in Winnipeg, born and raised, and I've got to tell I don't remember there being THAT many dead horse heads. Sure, there were a couple (but what city doesn't have frozen dead horse heads kicking around in this day and age)
Either way I can't see this tonight because it's not even playing in Winnipeg!!! Whats up with that? That'd be like Sex and the Shitty not playing in New York opening night.
