Jun 9 2008'Disaster Movie' Poster Says "Take That, 'Simpsons Movie' Poster!"

disaster-movie-simpsons.jpg Hah! Get it? This poster looks like the poster to The Simpsons Movie for some reason--even though The Simpsons was not a disaster movie, and the series is already itself known for incisive parodies. Still, this poster vaguely reminds me of something else, and is therefor funny. Don't question it too much. Everything makes sense.

Wow. Like every point of contact with those guys is cringeworthy.

well the simpsons movie kind of was a disaster movie. they got trapped under a dome for being polluted and stuff, and needed to be rescued.

Are they going to make fun of The Simpsons? WTF? That makes ZERO sense! Complete ZERO sense. WTF?

the earth is being bitten like a donut
cmon guys you dont get how funny that is

Mother $%#^$# Nature. get it? cause nature's the one doing it. and people dont like it. this is comedy gold people.

Hey look, it's Pacman.

I thought they were making a clever point about how the simpsons movie was such a disaster. That's probably giving these guys too much credit though.

JImbob: Well, if you call an hour and a half of solid laughs from internationally beloved characters pulling in a worldwide pre-cable, pre-dvd gross of $526,417,972.00 a disaster.

It like my "mother" .I

love it very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Idiocracy predicted that things like this would happen... and I'm writing this while drinking an 85 oz can of Brawndo (with gin)

Man they do it again - it must be there motto from pre-production to asses in the seat in three months or less

Tom: I don't mean financially disasterous, I mean in the sense that it sucked so much balls. Like all new Simpsons episodes.

jimbob: I agree!!!!! I think The Simpsons jumped the shark around 1994. It's too bad.
