1. Iron Man - Neither Speed nor Kutch could topple this giant, which still managed a $50.5 million weekend. They must not know Iron Man's weakness: magic rings or something, maybe?

2. Speed Racer - $20.2 million, all to find out what it's like to be stabbed in the eyes with a rainbow.

3. What Happens in Vegas... - $20 million in ticket sales. If you went, please explain why, and detail any hilarious, on-set Kutch-pranks that may be revealed during the credits.

4. Made of Honor - $7.6 million, coming in just ahead of GrĂ¼m's Man.

5. Baby Mama - $5.8 million--enough to just buy several black market babies, effectively avoiding the need for a baby mama.

well this is what happens when your movie's target demographic is stoners and lazy nostalgic nerds, your opening weekend is $20.2 million. As a lazy nostalgic nerd I am somewhat eager to see Speed Racer . . . but not eager enough to tear away from Grand Theft Auto 4.

its so depressing to see speed racer crash and burn like that..i really expected it to kick iron man off the charts..check out this crazy stand up comedy clip i found about crappy cars..wonder if speed would look just as hot riding one of these..funniest thing ive seen in months

enjoy:)

Sadly I did see What's happens in Vegas. Why you ask? Because I walked out of Speed Racer within the first 15 minutes. Technically SR got my money though. I thought it was really corny and the magnitude of colors were way to over the top. After WHIV was over, I did walk back into Speed Racer and caught the final race. It was kinda like I got to see 2 movies!

Actually, they say Speed Racer only made about $15mil.. coming in THIRD. Take that Dan Connor!

The Wachowski bros certainly put a lot of effort into making Speed Racer... but the movie overall looked and felt like a cross between anime, a kaleidoscope, that Flintstones movie, a video game and the Dukes of Hazard
