May 28 2008Robert Rodriguez Can't Do Anything Without His GF

Did you know that Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan are, like, totally in love? Well, they are, and Rodriguez wants you to know that besides being the best girlfriend in the world, she's also a tremendous actress worthy of more screen time than just Charmed reruns. So in addition to casting her in Planet Terror and a planned remake of Barbarella, the cowboy-hatted director is apparently shopping around a violent women's prison TV drama starring, you guessed it, his obnoxious goth girlfriend:

Director Robert Rodriguez is shopping around "Women in Chains!" a violent drama set at a woman's prison starring his fiancee, Rose McGowan.

The spec script, penned by Josh Miller and Mark Fortin, has been sent to a number of networks, including NBC and FX.

I'm beginning to think Rodriguez and Tim Burton have contest going to see who can make the largest film library that will incite weeping when watched in a few years, after the inevitable breakups. If so, they're both doing a tremendous job.

Look, there's no arguing she's a hot piece of ass, Robert. We know. We are actually hopeing you'll exploit the crap out of her so we won't have to scream for the Playboy pictorial (due in about 3 months, just a guess).

For those of you with short memories and just look at BOOBZ (yeah, you got me), Universal WAS going to let Robert direct Babarella. When they found out he was a total douche by insisting it star Rose, Universal said she couldn't carry a film (wonder where they got that idea, Planet Terror), they dumped it. He claimed is was dropped over skyrocketting budgets. I think he was right. He said she should star or pay him a gazillion dollars. As I said, douche. More details below:

Wait Jumpin_J, you mean that Tim Burton is dating Johnny Depp? My heart is broken!

I think Burton would get over the whole Helena Bonham Carter thing pretty quickly as long as he still had his beloved Johnny Depp.

Its only a matter of time before Burton decides to make a movie that requires Depp to play every single role-- like a goth version of Eddie Murphy.

Actually...I would totally go see that.

Robert R is a complete fucking dork (whats with the stupid ass hats) and not a very good director either.

LMAO @ 2.

Hell who cares, let him make his movies, go to the local blockbuster and look at all the shit thats on the lower racks on the new release wall. Some of the shit is just well that shit.

Oh and go over to the action or drama...or horror, I cant remember and look at the movie called Pirates, lmao its a skinemax movie with hookers looking like pirates. Dont rent it, just go laugh at the front of the box.

pssst, then go sneak into the back room if they have one (not blockbuster) and go look at a porn box called Anal Gangsta Ho's. PRICELESS!!! i want the poster its so awesome.
