May 22 2008'Eagle Eye' Teaser Trailer Saves Tonight

Eagle Eye, Shia LaBeouf's newest attempt at making the name Even Stevens synonymous with action, has a new teaser trailer online at the official site. It's already drawing criticism for its ridiculous phone-call-guides-you-exactly-where-and-when-to-move similarities to The Matrix, but with an original story by Steven Spielberg--his first since The Goonies--I'd urge you to give it a shot. Especially since I've heard the "projectile speed" sequences are radically different than The Matrix's "bullet time."

i would let Shia be in MY Holes

Sweet. It's The Matrix except instead of machines ruling the world its the media jews. Hooray, just like real life except someone stapled a fake beard and stache on LaBeouf's pre pubescent face. As of next week's graduation I'll be a media jew too, then it will be your turn LaBeouf.

Kudos on the semi-obscure '90s music reference in the title.

Nice 'stache Shia la Boof

I personally think it looks good. Besides, I think Shia is a decent actor. He may not be everyones #1 but he is still competent enough.

I will be seeing this.

Seagull Eye starring Steven Seagal. That'd be fun.

Haha! The title of this blog entry is a play on words regardnign the Eagle Eye Cherry song "Save tonight".

Thanks, Captain Obvious.

Shia laDouche needs to stop being such a douche.

I'm with Fallen, I actually think this looks fairly decent. And just by the fact that Shia has was able to successfully leave Even Stevens behind says something about his skills as an actor.

I'm sorry but I think this looks pretty good.

Why all the hatred towards Shia? He's a great actor. This was directed by the same director who directed 'Disurbia', so I'm definitely seeing this.

Projectile speed which is not to be confused with 'ammo chronology', which has been used in every action movie since the M-word. Maybe he'll take a blue pill in this movie. And have a raging hard-on for hours.

I can't wait to count how many of Shia's lines in the film entail him yelling, "No no no no no no no no."

I think Transformers had, what, 30? That's a tough ... I mean, crappy act to follow.
