Apr 14 2008Would a 'Rush Hour' by Any Other Name Still Scream as Much?

OK, figure this one out:

1. Jackie Chan told MTV that he and Chris Tucker have agreed to do another movie together.

2. That movie will not be another Rush Hour.

The two statements seem a bit contradictory to me. Are they trying to say they'll invent a new dynamic between the two of them? I find that impossible to believe, and I don't think anyone would accept it if they tried. So is it just a new job? Chefs instead of cops? Because I've got news for you guys: if it's essentially the same characters as Rush Hour, but now they're chefs or whatever, that's still a Rush Hour. That's Rush Hour: Chefs.

Am I missing something, or is this really as stupid as I think it is?

oh no, you're on the money. It's...really really stupid.

This reminds me of All About The Benjamins. Ice Cube and Mike Epps made up for Friday After Next with that one. So that means with this film's moderate success, there will be a Rush Hour 4.

To #4: "Gongfu"? Oh come on...if your going to troll the comments section, at least make an attempt at spelling correctly.

lol @ policegirl. I know, do people really think were gonna check out the website?

to police girl:

gong fu is the more appropriate translation of the chinese term when considering the pinyin method (which is what most english speaking people use when studying chinese)

kung fu on the other hand, is simply and anglicized version of the said term

to de carlo:

I know what Gong fu and kung fu is. But do you really think the idiots that post those messages do?

DICKS!
