'Space Chimps' Trailer is Barely Survivable

space-chimps-trailer.jpg

Science has long-ago answered the question of if chimps can survive in space (yes!), but can the original space chimp's grandson also survive in space, and be voiced by Andy Samberg? The answer, again, is unfortunately a yes, as is seen in this trailer to Space Chimps. If the original experiment of sending chimps into orbit was to test man's ability to live in the harsh climate of space, surely this film's sole mission is to study man's ability to survive an atmosphere of pure mediocrity, with easily-entertained children serving as the willing test subjects.

The film also stars Patrick Warburton as (surprise!) the big oafish chimp, but sadly lacks any of my favorite screen chimps.
