Apr 7 2008Maggie Gyllenhaal Gives a Harvey Dent Speech
After mounting a nationwide campaign to promote fake political campaign for Gotham City D.A. and future Two-Face Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight marketing team has taken things to the next logical step: endorsements from more fictional characters. Watch below the cut to see the new Rachel Dawes, Maggie Gyllenhaal, give a stilted speech in support of her favorite district attorney candidate. Listen for the repeated sound effects of camera shutters--those make it real!

I like Maggie, but I can not beleive I am about to type this--Katie Holmes makes a better Rachel Dawes. KH needed to do that part, dangit!!

Maggie's a good actress, but she's a poor politician, even when she's just acting as one she's not convincing at all on the stump ;D

She's still better than Katie Holmes. She totally ruined the first film.
While this one seems a bit under produced/scripted, the only people who are going to care are people viewing it on the intarweb.
I doubt the average schmo is going to care :P

She was distracting, I'll give you that. But not enough to make me miss the moonwalking gorilla in the background.

Ever since I watched Secretary I've had a hard on for Maggie. I always like freaky girls that can look conservative if they want.
