Apr 9 2008Errol Morris Crosses Thin Blue Line--of Yuks!
As far as modern documentarians go, Errol Morris pretty much can't be beat (sorry, Morgan Spurlock). Over the years, the director has shown us that the man who invented the electric chair is a creepy Holocaust denier, that drifters aren't always murderers (usually, though), and that you probably don't want to live in certain areas of Florida. But now the award-winning director has a new mission: laughter. According to Hollywood Reporter, Morris is at work on a somewhat-comic screenplay called The End of Everything that involves "a wingless bird, author Margaret Mitchell, a volcano and Laura Bush." Sounds like my Saturday night! Yikes!
