Apr 28 2008A Couple 'Dark Knight' Thingies
1. Omelete has five new Dark Knight international posters, including the one above. This one actually combines three of the individual character posters into a single unit, so really you've only got one left after this, and it's of the Bat-Motorcycle-Thing.
2. Thanks to Maggie for pointing out that the Dark Knight viral site Why So Serious? has updated with city-specific countdown clocks if you click the defaced presidential portraits. I have no idea what will happen in said cities when the clock runs out (my heart exploding from excitement?!), but the buzz for this film is such that the vague announcement that "something will happen!" is still newsworthy.

God this flick looks like bantha fodder. Does calling it "dark knight" somehow make yet another Batman movie original?

I'm no rocket scientist, but the fact that TRAIL and ER are capitalized on the countdown pages suggests to me that some kind of "TRAILER" is going to be available for viewing at the locations listed.
I guess giving the coordinates to Graumann's Chinese Theater (for Los Angeles) would have been a little too obvious.

I have such high hopes for this movie but when they start rolling out multiple movie posters, it almost feels like they're trying to make up for a lack of something.

Checked out Bryant Park about 5:05, a bunch of high school kids dressed as clowns. Looked out my office window at 5:40, saw a huge crowd of them running down 40th to the first clue...

These movies are so hacky its not even funny. Please somebody realize how mediocre these are!!
Batman loves motocross apparently.
Why does the motorcycle have cannons and machine guns on it? Aren't people going to be mad when batman accidently overshoots a 40 mm shell into an apartment, or a cab drivers face? Didn't batman always say no to guns???

Where did all the bat hate come from?
So people come to this site to praise the Mummy, but rip on the new Batman series by the brilliant director Chris Nolan?
There is some basement dweller out there with a mad on grudge for this series because they removed the bat nipples, I think.
