Seeing these first shots of Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth in Wolverine, I was at an utter and complete loss as to how I could possibly work an effective pun into the headline. Fortunately, Page Six was kind enough to supply the headline "Liev Nails His Role," cleverly drawing attention to the artificial nails he's wearing for the role while also highlighting his acting ability. I probably would have gone with something like "Get Ready For Your Next Shot, Liev--Looks Like You Already Took a Few!" or "Schreiber Shows His Acting Chops--Muttonchops, That Is!" and I would have sounded really stupid.

I dunno why they couldn't get Taylor Mane back. i think the guy nailed Sabertooth.

Taylor Mane was perfect as Sabretooth. Could've hired him and he would've looked the part as well as been cheaper.

I'm interested. I think if they work it right, Liev Schreiber could really pull this off. I hope so anyway. Tyler Mane was terrible.

That looks nothing like Sabretooth. Isn't he suppoed to have blond hair? And look less stupid?
Besides, Tyler Mane did a great job I thought. It's not like he's a super-deep character or anything. At least he looks less like a doofus than this dude.

So considering that he is in an army outfit I guess they are ignoring the wolverine origin story? that's to bad it was my favorite part of his entire background. Wolverine's parents were super rich and their servants son was Sabertooth. But whatever, they'll make him a sadist and hate wolverine somehow. I'll probably still see it

What the hell? Are people actually saying the grunting moron known as Tyler Mane was a great sabertooth? Pshaw. Im not a fan of Leave Schrieber either. They should have gotten Sawyer from Lost. He would have made an awesome sabertooth.

I saw this guy a couple of weeks ago in the supermarket where I work (in Dunedin NZ) and he is huge! I mean massive, that picture does him no justice. I'm sold.

I'm alright with Schreiber...but as Creed? No, not at all. Then I thought,"There really isn't going to be any saving grace for this over-cast and under-talented movie," so who really gives a shit.
Although I'm sure people will flock to see it and IWS will be sure to post how much it makes opening weekend. Too bad that doesn't reflect opinion and only how many suckers spent $10 on a ticket.
