Mar 12 2008'Lost Boys 2: The Tribe' Trailer Holds the Haim?
The strangely earnest introduction from Corey Feldman--in which he somehow says "raise the stakes" with a straight face--does a good job setting the tone for Lost Boys 2: The Tribe, a movie in which lines like "it wasn't wine--it was blood!" are said so soberly that you hardly realize how hilarious it is someone said "it wasn't wine--it was blood!" Plus there's all the vampires, vampire hunting, and Feldman you'd expect from a Lost Boys sequel. Recommended only if you're an obsessive fan of the original, or if you've adapted into a nostalgia-based life-form.
And was it my computer's choppy video playback skipping over him, or was Corey Haim conspicuously missing from this trailer?

Okay movie gods, if your going to do a sequel of Lost Boys, then you better put some extra star power in it like Keifer Sutherland. Haim is in the movie, but that's not enough. And the rest of the cast looks terrible. Besides the script probably sucking too. This actually could have been good. I might rent it. Might.
Glad to see Haim acting again. :)

Not sure why Haim is in it. In the reality show, 'The Two Coreys,' Feldman said an offer had been extended to him but not Haim. Haim felt he had 'burned too many bridges in Hollywood.' Also, don't watch that show without a bottle of scotch.

Fuck it, I'm in. That theme music kicks up, Corey is in for Killing Vampires and looks disgusted by the job, and I'm ALWAYS down for some girl on girl vampire action... GOD DAMN IT THOUGH ITS NOT THE SAME WIFOUT THE KEEF'S COIF!!!!

The original Lost Boys kicked ass! Just hearing the theme song brings back so many memories. They won't be able to top the original cast but I'll pay a few bucks just for kicks. Death by stereo... Come on!!

On the one hand it's great to hear the music - on the other is the cast of souless pretty faces whose generation sadly adds vanity and thus hubris to every character in every remake they are a part of.

Haim couldn't make the movie because he wasn't allowed into Canada, where it was filmed.

Is it wrong that I'm excited to see this now?

Surprisingly...I doesn't look to bad.
Hey...did anyone notice that one of the vampires resembles a young Keifer Sutherland?

Oh god no, another generation of pseudo-gothic babybats raised on a horrible film? It sounds like they used the exact same script as the original movie. If they are going to do this, why not bring back the bleached 80's mullet too? Don't forget the perm-rat-tail haircut either.

You know it's gonna suck when the director plays "Garlic Salesman" in the film and it was written by the author of "Sucker: The Vampire."
And it wasn't filmed in Santa Cruz, CA like the first one... so double bonus suckage.
