Despite startling advances in android artificial intelligence, holograms, and computer graphics, each year countless human thespians are paid a predetermined price to pretend they're someone else, all for our entertainment. The latest stars to find parts in such a production? John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph--perhaps better known as Jim from The Office and some terrible impression of a diva on SNL--have been cast in a new comedy by director Sam Mendes, with a script by author Dave Eggers and his wife Vendela Vida. This untitled picture is shaping up to be more than adequate, no?

I like Maya Rudolph. she has a pretty wide comedic range. she's married to P.T. Anderson and they have a kid.

Glad to see Maya has a movie in the works-I thought maybe she had retired for good.
