Feb 25 2008'X-Files 2' Teaser Trailer from WonderCon

x-files-2-bootleg-teaser.jpg

The X-Files 2 teaser premiered at WonderCon this weekend (as did, surely, several costumes of that anime guy with the giant cross), and some tireless bootleggier was on-hand to make sure we get to enjoy a blurry facsimile of it. I can barely tell what's going on, but the crowd seems to be loving it. Not since the last time Arvid and Dennis got into an unlikely predicament have I witnessed anyone so excited by the unexpected appearance of Billy Connolly.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell's going on, either, but I still can't wait for this. Eeeee!

Was that a room full of little girls? Oh wait...yeah I guess it was.

X-Files trailer + first (and maybe only) appearance of Anderson and Duchovny together at a con = me (a 40-year-old dude) yelling like a delighted little girl. So sue me.

Lucky man, Bean. Had I been fortunate enough to be there, I would have screaming like a girl, too (and now that's going to bug me all day; that's a reference to a line from an episode of the X-Files, but I can't remember which one - Scully telling Mulder he screamed like a girl).

Does anyone on this site ever get laid?!?

sure do.

...by another human?

Yup, by my wife... who was sitting right next to me, also screaming like a little girl. (Ha! Regularly laid AND saw Anderson and Duchovny! Suck it, bitches!)

PB&J...

Do blood relatives count?

Warren, I'm pretty sure as long as it's not your sibling, it counts. At least, that's what cousin Bobby says.

Hell, I met my wife standing in line to see the first X-Files movie.

Can I see that again with less screaming dorks?

I can out-nerd you all! The name of the anime guy with the giant cross is Nicholas D. Wolfwood, A gun toting preacher/ orphan rescuer from the Trigun series

The episode is War of the Coprophages, when Mulder is telling the story of how he screamed when he saw a praying mantis. He says, "And I screamed. Not a girly scream, but ......' . After his monologue, Scully is silent a moment and then says to him, "Mulder, are you sure it wasn't a girly scream?"

Of course we also now know where X-Phile1013 was Friday nights in the 90s.

That was my fav episode - still have it on VHS!
