Feb 8 2008Mickey Rourke Looking Healthy as 'The Wrestler'

My first thought was, "Man, Kim Basinger is looking busted," then, "Oh, it's just Bret Michaels wrestling for something VH1 must be sponsoring, and he's on meth." As it turns out, both instincts were wrong; it's just Mickey Rourke playing the down-and-out titular character on the set of Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler. Knowing that, he actually looks pretty good for Mickey Rourke.

Thanks, Kevin.

Mickey's stomach is similar to that of Tara Reid's.

Is that a white Laurence Fishburne standing beside Mickey or is it just me?

Is it just me, or does that wrestler kind of look like that guy from the movie Sin City?

Aronofsky's doing it...its gonna rule. nuff said...

I would have agreed with you if he had only done Pi and Requiem. The Fountain was as bad and pretentious as it gets. I'll wait for reviews on this one...

Let this be a lesson to use a board certified plastic surgeon and not the Bondo guy from Rogelio's Chop Shop.

Kim Bassinger hehehehe....that made me chuckle

Kelly - no, that's Afa, the Wild Samoan.

Holy Hell Afa looks better than Mickey.... wow wonder what that says about the culture and lifestyles of celebs and quasi celebs ???

The stunt double for Rourke is the Indy pro "Kid USA". The former "hardest working wrestler in the Indies" is in monster shape and can fly like a 30 year old Jimmy Snooka. The shoot last week at the Ring of Honour show in Dover was sick, should be a good movie.
