Feb 22 2008'G.I. Joe' Set Shots! Baroness is Blonde?! Duke is Primitive?!
From the set of G.I. Joe, JFX managed to sneak some first looks at Channing Tatum and Sienna Miller in-costume as Duke and Baroness. Someone will have to remind me: has Duke always been so flagrantly vain despite having the cretinous look of a proto-human? And was Baroness ever blonde?

I believe she may have been a blonde if in disguise now and again. But this shot makes no sense. She's a blonde soccer mom, and wife of a fallen U.S. soldier? She better still have the Natasha accent or I'll be double pissed.

I played with G.I. Joe's as a kid. This movie will suck. What have they decided is the best way to cast a movie? Buy a pop-culture mix of Tiger Beat and InStyle mixed with two shakes of People and O.K. and just randomly pick "actors" who are perfect for these "roles"? I smell Fantastic 4 craptastic-ness coming on!

Part of me can't wait to see this on the big screen, and part of me knows I will be even more crushed after I see it than I was after the travesty that was Transformers. Why is Hollywood so intent on destroying any and all things cool from my childhood?! Did the writers/producers of this movie ever read an issue of the comic book or watch an episode of the cartoon? Did any of them ever play with the figures? Sigh. The movie would probably be much better if they simply read a figure file card! Double sigh. At least Ray Park will bring some athletic coolness to Snake Eyes.

I believe the shot of Baraness is probably at the beginning of the movie. It's probably a turning point for her to go bad. That's when she'll dye her hair black and put on the specs. This movie will be awesome. You guys really need to just appreciate movies for their entertainment value and stop picking everything apart. You did it with Spider Man and Transformers and they turned out well. Just wait for the movie.

I expect Cobra-La to show up at some point in this. The Baroness's brother was killed in Vietnam in the comics and I assume this is their attempt to modernize that story but A) She and her brother weren't American B) Her brother wasn't a soldier and C) She wasn't blonde.
I also hope they at least try to make Snake Eyes look taller on film since Ray Park is only 5'9"

Spider Man was OK, Spidey 2 was good, Spidey 3 was an affront to God. Transformers was one of the worst movies of the last 20 years.

Good movies are entertaining. At $10 a head, bad movies deserve to be torn apart.

Just so happens that I was actually on set of the movie this day and lemme tell you, it ain't gonna win any best screenplay awards. Yes, they have the blatent 'he's a regular great american hero!!" line. Oh yes. And this shot isn't at the beginning, and yes sh!e is blonde the whole time. Watch out for swing dancer solders at a hip party!!!!

Channing Tatum was in She's the Man and his character's name was Duke. That was a good movie. Seriously. Oh, shut up.
Whose Amanda Bynes going to play in this movie?
I've hated this movie since I found out the villian was going to be a "Scottish Arms Dealer" and the Joes work for the UN and Willia, "Refrigerator" Perry was not attached to play himself.
Attention Hollywood, stupid people still pay to see movies like this. Enjoy your 300 million domestic.

Just thought I'd put everyone's mind at ease and let you know that Sienna Miller does not play the baroness
