Jan 17 2008'Sex and the City' Poster Fills Rhinestone, Pun Quotas

I'm sorry it's low resolution, but I needed to post what will clearly be the most apt poster of 2008. Nothing embodies the spirit of Sex and the City like terrible puns and a dense coating of rhinestones. I mean, seriously, "Get Carried Away"? It's almost too good. Only "Carrie On My Wayward Mare" could have made me any happier.

'Get Carried Away' on a stretcher to the morgue because you died in the theatre watching this shit.

I think Sarah Jessica Parker is attractive, no matter what anyone says.

I've never watched the show, as the premise of disgusting middle-aged hags whoring around town doesn't sound appealing. But compared to the rest of those cows, I suppose Sarah Jessica Parker isn't too bad.

Is that Carrie's chalkmarked body trailing behind her? Maybe she's murdered and it's a ghost walking in a pink dress? I'm just saying.

SJP is in the horse face club with Rene Russo and Mr. Ed. I wouldn't fuck any of them.

It's beyond the capabilities of my imagination that this movie will be even watchable. And I didn't think the show was THAT awful. It occasionally featured something mildly insightful. Mostly though, it just made me sick that people like that exist.

I heard she married Mr. Ancient Man-Whore, then he pumps dust into her, and nine months later she shits out a puff of ashes. Then they rot together in a closet full of the ugliest shoes ever conceived.

@5 - I thought Mr. Ed was very distinguished and charming.

I think the movie is good and I also like the actress!!!!!!!!!!! seekamillionaire has more information about her marriage and other things!!!!!!!!!!

And of course the date and tagline are in Trajan, the lazy lazy movie poster font. They could have at least matched the title.
