Jan 21 2008R-Rated 'Funny Games' Trailer Adds Blood, Bras
The trailer for Michael Haneke's shot-for-shot English remake of his original Funny Games has been out for some time, but this R-rated version ups the ante, adding visible shotgun wounding, more Naomi Watts in a bra, and more Tim Roth looking rough as anything. Watch it under the cut.

Tim Roth is hot stuff. Is that inappropriate to mention for this movie? Just cuz his movie wife is getting raped up on? Well, he is anyway.

What's the point of this? A film for sadists everywhere now that Papa Hussein and boys are dead? I guess Al Qaeda snuff videos aren't enough for some.

The movie has a message. (well the original, so I'm sure this one will also) You can figure it out yourself, but while it kind of is sadism for sadism's sake, it's also kind of looking down upon itself.

They all die in the end. The family, not the killers. The killer actually controls the movie itself with a remote.

I had sort of hoped Michael Pitt would someday do normal movies. Ones that people wanted to see.
