Jan 16 2008People in Coats on the Set of 'Dragonball'
These shots from the set of Dragonball aren't exceptionally telling--besides that, against all logic, the production is going forward--but if Justin Chatwin's little faux-hawk bouffant thing under the hood is the closest we're coming to Goku's multi-directional spikes, I'm really disappointed. Let's hope this is just a preliminary hair base that they're building on; the idiotic hairstyles were all I was looking forward to.
More here.
Oh, and thanks to Jackie for the tip. I forgot to say that.

Hey if I can wear my fucking hair like that every day of the year you'd think the douchebags at Fox could do something with that girls hair. There's no way she has that big a' hair under that hood.

I'm really getting sick of people complaining about Goku's hair in the live-action movie not being the same as in the anime/manga. There is no way they were ever going to try that. It looks ridiculous in the anime, it's anime so they can get away with it. But in real life? Come on!
"This is like the golden age of horrible live action cartoon movies."
First of all, there's no such thing as a live-action cartoon movie. And second, anime and cartoons are NOT the same thing.

That's a guy, not a girl.

@ #4:
Actually, there IS such a thing as a live-action cartoon movie: Rocky and Bullwinkle.
And was as horrible as you can imagine it being.

Anime and Cartoons are exactly the same thing. Anime simply refers to CARTOONS from Japan.

Anime and cartoons are not the same thing - they're both animated drawings, only anime looks way stupider.
