Think it's impossible to transplant the quirky humor (and Natalie Portman) of Garden State into an over-the-top period drama? You are so wrong. In this scene from The Boleyn Girl, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson have just finished staring blankly into a mirror--a natural reaction to learning their shirt somehow perfectly matches the bathroom wallpaper--and now they're going to off to scream and listen to Ye Olde Shins or whatever. Wearing eye-hurting clothing is totally dramedic.
