Jan 14 2008Look Into the Horrifying, Ledger-Filled Mask of 'Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus'
Just Jared has got some new shots of Heath Ledger from Terry Gilliam's latest, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, also known as Nightmares I Had After Seeing 'Eyes Wide Shut'. The story follows "the leader of a traveling theater troupe who, through a deal with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations.” Knowing Gilliam, at least one person's imagination is bound to involve some dwarfs.

Rose, why criticize a film without knowing hardly any information about it, or even seeing it? Heath Ledger is a fantastic actor and can handle any part given to him. His portrayal of the Joker in "The Dark Knight" was fantastic, and it was HIS performance that boosted the film to $510 million, and made it the sensation that it will always be- his performance was electrifying, horrifying, and comic all at the same time, something no other actor would have done as well. I'm totally devastated at his death- he's made many great films- but had so much time to improve and grow- and seeing as how good he was in "The Dark Knight", who knows how good he could have been 5 years from now? I'm excited to see this film because it has many very talented, UNIQUE actors that include Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger, and Jude Law, all of which are very talented in my opinion. Sure, the film looks a little odd, and hopefully doesn't fall in the exact footsteps as "The Brothers Grimm", but I think it's worth seeing just for Ledger's sake. Oh, how I miss him so much. Everytime I see him, I get reminded of how much I miss him, and I just cry. R.I.P Heath Ledger- You are in our hearts, and will ALWAYS be missed.
