Jan 29 2008'Hellboy II': Johann Close-Up Art as Metaphor
The Official Hellboy II Production Site has finally posted a close-up look at Johann, the new psychic character who must wear a containment suit to keep his ectoplasmic body from dissipating. The suit works the same as drinking does to keep my soul numb enough to not completely exit my body, but in a more sci-fi, steampunky, socially acceptable way.

Steam punk is cool.
This also makes me wish there was a Bioshock movie,
which makes me wish there was a half life movie.

Uncle Eccoli; it's still pretty early for me at the moment, and I'm still waiting for the first cup of coffee, but as far as I remember it, Johann was some kinda psychic who could exit his physical body and enter the ectoplasmic(sp?) world. Then some kidna acciden happened and his body died, trappic him in the form of ectoplasma (which, you know, sucks major!) and the BRPD made the containment suit for him
I may be a tat off, but hey...
