Jan 11 2008AM Poster Post: Indiana Jones is Backlit
It's been proven that Indiana Jones has one of the most internationally recognizable silhouettes--provided the outline shows the form of his trademark fedora and whip, and that he's clearly identified with giant orange lettering.

Claw your eyes out in horror once they reveal that it's actually Shia Lebeouf in the picture.
In fact, just the thought of it makes me wanna punch myself in the face with a broken meatcleaver.

After seeing the pic, I came in here to make a snarky comment about how they backlit it because it's so obviously not Harrisson Ford, and was probably one of the craft services guys they grabbed during some down time.
But, then I see Petey's comment about the pic actually being Shia. I don't see it, but I suppose it's possible. God I hope he's wrong, though. I'm sure this exact sort of thing is what Ford/Spielberg were thinking about when they spent fifteen years saying "No, Geoge, that's dumb."
If this movie is just a sorry excuse to transition into some gawd-awful "Jones Jr. Jr." series with a young, presumably bankable star, then I'm writing off this movie. They might as well have had a pic of Indiana sharing buscuits with Hitler while wearing orphan-hide pants and drinking the blood of... I dunno... let's say "puppies." People like puppies, right?
Either way, Indiana Jones is dead to me.

NOOOOOOOO. seriously? you had to put that image, of shia leboueaeaueuaf as indy?? AND Indy would NEVER name his son indiana... it's a dog's name, after all!

Well considering that the first teaser poster is not really a Drew Struzan illustration anymore one would have to doubt how decent this movie is gonna be.

This is taken from the bit when Indy rapes LaBeef in a pitch black room. In real life Harrison Ford had to have a glass barrier placed between him and The Beef, so the camera lens reflection can be spotted in shot as Indy ploughs into the greasy monkey like a trap released boulder.
