Why do I love zombie movies so much, I do not know. I got pissed off because I showed my friend the awesomeness of 28 Days Later and she didn't shit her pants with excitement. Now we are no longer friends.

Zombies don't blow things up, people do!
I wouldn't worry about it too much; the film is superb, and that's the important thing. You're in for a treat.

Zombie terrorists do. They died and they are PISSED about the lack of virgins.

Urg- another zombie movie. I love horror movies, but zombie movies are too redundant for my taste. The true bummer here is that my husband loves them, so I will be subjected to this one, too. Damn it.

I'm holding out for the world war z movie. That's by far the second best zombie book I've ever read, the first being the zombie survival guide.

More important to note the camera is recording an image isn't actually anywhere within the view of the camera. There is a tight grouping of zombies in the view finder, but the visible zombies are spread out.

I think '1 trick pony' was created for 'George A Romero'. Keep on flogging that horse George.....

Thank you, #7!!! Most horror fans speak of Romero as though he is a god, but I just don't see the genius of doing the same thing over and over again. Romero can talk about the political undertones all he wants, but it is still the same shit, just carrying a different label

I love Romero's movies....I absolutely hated Land of the Dead though. Saw the trailer for this and it looks pretty cool (better than land I would say). I'am upset though that he might be doing the "shakey cam" style of Cloverfield and Blair Witch. Now its a very cool concept doing it with a zombie movie but I just hope it doesnt become the current fad for films to be done this way. :(

And Wendy is right....the image on the camera looks nothing like where the viewfinder is pointed. :/

Can you say Day of the Cloverfield? You know its going to be 100% shot through the hand held camera so we can experience what it was really like.
YAWWNNNNNNN

Oh, but I disagree. You can see that the camera is pointing to the lower right, and is zoomed in 4x, so we can't possibly know if there is a continuity problem there. Maybe it's a GHOST camera, that only sees the land of the dead?

Another Zombie movie?? Yaaaaawn

"Another Zombie movie?? Yaaaaawn "
You mean "Yawn of the Dead" don't you?
Horrid pun aside, gimmie zombies!

I love zombie movies. I think zombies are one of the greatest horror villains of all time. However, the majority of zombie movies is fucking horrible. Directors try to hard to make them "scary", when the idea of zombies is already frightening. Secondly, am I the only person in the world who thinks George A. Romero is totally overrated?
16. Bean - January 22, 2008 1:12 AM
Romero only seems overrated because he created a genre that everyone else copied to the point that the originality of "Night" and "Dawn" is whitewashed crap (or would that be "brownwashed?")
