Dec 14 2007'The Dark Knight' Trailer, Only Shaky and Poor Quality
A dark, blurry Batman trailer is still a Batman trailer. Just an unfulfilling one, where you can barely tell what's going on. Special shout outs to bootleggers and camera phones for this one.
UPDATE: It's gone already. But if you poke around you can probably find it.
UPDATE 2: It's back for now.

There are number of fan-made ones out there purporting to be the real deal. These ues clips from (i) Batman Begins, (ii) other movies with the same stars (like 'thank you for smoking') and (iii) fan-made batman films (most notably, 'batman; dead end').
to help ID the real deal, look for the image of the joke in the pic here, as well as some speechiness from alfred overlaying everything. there's also LOTS of bats on his motorcycle.

The video is still here: http://filmdrunk.com/post.phtml?pk=799

I have to say, it doesn't look very good. That joker guy is overacting to a terrible degree and looks cheesy with all the explosions and "com on then" shit. They might as well re release Batman with Jack in, had a much better trailer.
4. Jack Nicholson???? - December 14, 2007 1:49 PM
This is what I needed. It think it's amazing. And while I dug Nicholson's business as the Joker back in 89... Now, not so much. This is the version I've always craved. Batshit insane, actually scary--- I think this movie's going to give lots of folks chills when they see how far they take it.

Disagree. This looks like it will kick ass on many levels.

Diamonds - "That joker guy" is Heath Ledger. I'm actually excited about this one. I'm glad to see that it will be more intense and less kid friendly - even though idiot parents will still take their little ones to see this and then complain that it was too scary for them...sigh.

This looks like it might be the best batman yet.

Should be called "Batman/The Joker: Raspy Voices".

From what I've heard, we've been given the entirely wrong impression about the movie.
The marketing, so far, has been about 80% Joker and 20% Batman. I think when it finally hits, Joker will only be a subplot that keeps Batman occupied until Two-Face gets the real party started.
This is Two-Face's movie... the Joker's only living in it.

I love the looks of this movie. It's nice to see a serious interpretation of Batman, not that the Burton ones weren't, but this is much more hardcore.

I'm going to see IML tonight just to see this trailer on the big screen.... That was insanely cool.

Seems it's been taken down again.
Not to worry, it's here too. http://vidsearch.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=23957351
I'm not too keen on the hobo-clown Joker look, but at least he has the laugh right.

I can't wait.
It looks like Heath Ledger has managed to make Joker look just the right shade of crazy. He doesn't just come across as a bit weird, he seems genuinely dangerous.
