Dec 6 2007'Speed Racer' Images Resemble Cough Syrup Experiences
Since the Wachowskis announced they were making a live-action adaptation of Speed Racer, there's been a lot of speculation and doubt as to how well they could translate the anime. It turns out our worries were completely unfounded. Just like you'd want, it looks exactly like a spaceman having a psychotic episode while half in a spectroscope, half in a Hot Wheels commercial.

This looks so bad. As if seeing Matthew Fox in that terrible Racer X suit wasn't reason enough to not see this, they just game me plenty more reasons with the rest of these lame pictures.
I've never watched the crappy cartoon so I highly doubt I'll see a crappy movie based on aforementioned crappy cartoon.

Let's keep in mind that this is based on a tv cartoon show guys..it's suppose to be aimed at the 6-11 boy age audience.
flashy colors,,trippy car effects and cool racer x costumes are a must!!
Its not for 'the matrix', "...Im so cool bending bullets." 20s crowd guys
TRIXY IS FOR KIDS..keep the movie in that vein and It'll be great
can't wait to see it. A distant relative of mine was the producer of the original 1966 show (Kazumi Fujita) a.k.a "k.fujita" in the credits of the orignal show

i thought the Wachowski siblings were making a remake of Speed Racer, not that MTV Liquid Television short "Dog Boy".
