Dec 20 2007'Mirage Man' Trailer is Chile's Answer to Batman, Delinquency
To say Mirage Man looks like the best superhero movie coming out next year would probably be an overstatement given how well The Dark Knight seems to have shaped up. But I will say it looks like the best superhero movie coming out that's made in Chile, is scored with what sound like unused Shaft tracks, and features a tagline that translates to "in 2008, delinquency will be kicked in the face."

Those fights fucken rock. I love how he catches the bag snatcher and then just wails on his head.

Dude. Indeed this is the first supero hero movie made in Chile. No superpowers, though. Just bare fists. The star is Marko Zaror, who was a stand-in double for The Rock in most of his movies. So the guy literally kicks ass. I've seen it a couple of time already here in Chile, and it's an awesome blend of low budget guerilla moviemaking, (japanese) superhero movies of the 70s and thirld-world comedy. Pure delight and nice fights! (feel free to e-mail me for info)
