Emmy Rossum Joins 'Dragonball', and Apparently 'Dragonball' Involves Actual Dragon Balls
Recognizing that a live-action version of the Dragonball anime--best known as the subject of shiny, oversized button-up shirts for fat guys--might not have much appeal outside of said fat guys, producers have added the doe-eyed, girl-next-door attractiveness of Emmy Rossum to the bill. Maybe that will bring in the sad sacks so desperate to see a good-looking girl that they'll endure two-hours of brightly-colored, nonsensical fighting, right?
According to Variety, "Rossum takes on the role of Bulma, whose father's Dragon Ball is stolen by Piccolo." I have no idea what a Dragon Ball could be (outside of a the obvious: a dragon's testicle), why this Piccolo character would desire to possess one, or why her name sounds like something in or around the vagina.
