Nov 8 2007'Righteous Kill' Preview - With De Niro and Pacino!
Speak of the devil (the devil being corrupt cop thrillers), it's another corrupt cop thriller! But Righteous Kill, as its preview will shove in your face, holds the distinct honor of starring screen legends Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, together for probably the last time until they found a Godfather II-themed retirement home.
The preview also features 50-Cent and a thumping backing track of some kind of electro-metal, and screaming. It's like they're trying to pull in fans of the greatest actors of a generation, but also don't want to lose that coveted angsty 8th grader demographic.
Thanks for the tip, Adam.

Nine Inch Nails' "God is Dead" playing in the trailer might be the only thing that gets me to see this movie. I hate my parents!

Don't forget they're trying really, really hard to get a PG-13 rating. Which means that all violence occurs off screen. And instead of cursing, De Niro and Pacino will use phrases like "darn" and "heck" and "friggin".
Further, to get the ethnic audience, De Niro's ride has 20 inch rims and Pacino says things like "dope", "fresh", and "my nigga".

I don't think they should have gone for the PG-13 rating. They are top caliber actors and now kids are going to be afraid of Grandpa.

eh the background is just "heresy" by nine inch nails, which is actually like a ten year old song. it's silly, but i was expecting something much worse from your description. i do love the site though :O)
