Nov 2 2007'Jumper' Poster Features Exotic/Dull Cocktail

After seeing Star Wars: The First Massive Disappointment, The Clone One, and The One with the Goofy Scream at the End, a lot of viewers probably thought Hayden Christensen could only deliver stilted emotion and non-existant sexual chemistry in the confines of computer-generated outer space.

The poster for Jumper hopes to eliminate this myth by showing off that even in the world's most typically exotic location--the top of the Sphinx--Christensen can still bring his special brand of dull anti-charisma to the screen.

See how his arms hang limply at his sides? That's his acting!

If you missed the trailer, I recommend it here.

Thanks for the info.

Back when he did Shattered Glass a few years ago, I was glad he had a career, but there was something about his choice to be in Factory Girl that really put me off. Oughta be interesting to see where his career goes next, now that he is back to blockbusters.

Would someone please inform the mentally disabled retard who writes these items that Hayden Christiansen *wasn't in* "The Phantom Menace" in the first place?

As much as I despise Mr.Christianson. Jumpers does look interesting I have to admite.

I feel compelled to defend Hayden Christensen.
I'd like to see anybody else here try acting in front of a giant screen and faking a conversation with stupid fake creatures and whatnot. I saw somebody mention Shattered Glass... watch that and then tell me that you think he can't act.

#2: That's just what I thought as soon as I read it. Pretty dumb mistake

Oh, this guy's never been in any movies I'd care to watch ouside Star Wars... but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since everyone in that Godawful crapfest acted terribly. I think it had something to do with the lack of script, lack of sets, and often lack of entire visible characters. Oh, and lack of director with a functional brain.

He appears to be wearing some kind of coat, not a jumper.

ALL of the actors in the prequel trilogy acted stiff and wooden, including Portman, Neeson, and McGregor. This was likely a result of the direction of Lucas, who has been said to not really "be there" for his actors. It's likely that it was no different in Christensen's case.

Jumper looks pretty interesting to me and Ill see it in theatres. However, it appears a solo Nightcrawler movie will never be made now and that makes me sad.
