If you've been following the tedious, ongoing saga of Joker's clues to help market The Dark Knight, have I got good news for you: there are more!
Like a lengthy Price is Right game with no end or 2008 Ford Focus in sight, plus some elements of a modernized Encyclopedia Brown story, the viral marketing campaign now asks that you crack a safe, call a phone number, and visit some more fake websites for clues.
Luckily, some other people have already done it for us casual followers, so go ahead and track the work of these nerdy vanguards under the cut.
Logically, I'd think a psychopathic madman would be more likely to smear shit on the walls of his cell, but apparently Joker loves "shooting people an email" and occasionally forwarding funny Mitch Hedburg quotes, and sent the following to some lucky recipients on his mailing list:

A new site was revealed, dubbed the mausoleum, which looks suspiciously like an evidence vault. To break in, inconveniently change your computer's clock to 7:38 AM, revealing the following note:
Astute anagram-lovers will notice the blood covered letters can be arranged to spell “T-I-M-E | F-O-R | T-A-F-F-Y”. According to The Gotham Times, Johnny “Taffyface” Linata died at 7:38 AM! I have no idea what the relevance of this is.

There is another site also GothamPolice.com.
The site has a VERY specific directions on how to apply to the police dept.
This makes me wonder if the Joker is plotting against the police dept or possibly the school (college included) system, or is someone in the PD hand select who gets on the PD?
